I’ll be joining a new team in a few weeks (another post on that soon, when it happens) and learned that during quarantine they’ve been sharing recipes with each other. This was a great reason for finally writing down the steps I’ve been using for years to make the family-favorite banana bread.

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3 soft bananas
  • 3/4 cup of chocolate chips

Steps

  • Set oven to 350 F.
  • Crack the eggs and mix them together with the brown sugar in a bowl.
  • Add the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, baking powder) to the bowl and mix.
  • Melt the butter, mash the bananas, add them to the bowl and mix.
  • Add the chocolate chips to the bowl and mix.
  • Grease a baking pan and pour the mix into it.
  • Put in the middle-rack of the oven for 35 minutes.
  • Let it cool before serving.
